Having been in Operatons for years and driven many successful Lean initiatives I made the jump to Information Technology to assist with ERP configuration, cost accounting, and Business Process Management. Passionate about both systems and operations I provide a unique link between the two, allowing the sytem to present an accurate picture of what operations is doing and allowing for the dissemination of timely and accurate information that people can act on. As a consultant I help businesses in the manufacturing and restaurant industries reduce costs while increasing revenues by utilizing a variety of methods, The approach is somewhat basic. Using Business Process Management we capture the current state of the organization at a macro level. Then using Theory of Constraints we determine the most immediate change requirements according the current state. After developing a strategy for change the implementation plan for change is developed. Using BPM again we map the desired state at the process level according to the strategy developed earlier. Change is implemented at the process level using BPM, and the business initiatives are launched almost silently in the background. User education is handled after implementation as needed
