Ever held an event and thought it would be really cool to have a photo booth  but obviously don’t want to pay the high price of getting one in? Well, help is at hand with the new Party Booth app.

Utilising your webcam it is a desktop application that runs in full screen kiosk style and allows people to walk up to the screen, pose, press the spacebar and the picture is taken. The app allows for the usual custom banners, borders etc, but the real neat thing is, it can also optionally automatically upload photos to Facebook, img.ly, Mobypicture, Posterous, ScreenTweet, TweetPhoto, TwitDoc, Twitgoo, TwitPic, twitrpix, TwitSnaps, and tumblr. Would be a neat addition to your next social media event.

Party Booth is available for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X and Linux due to it being a Flash application distributed in in Adobe’s AIR Runtime.
