Microsoft finally set to make its name in the mobile phone market with two self branded phones. Up until now their only involvement has been through the windows mobile OS, which came on strong and offered serious competition to the Blackberry RIM OS solutions, but its popularity has always been a distant 2nd to the iPhone.

Title “Project Pink” the details are still a secret, but most reckon that it will probably take the shape and spec of the Zune HD.

With other providers (HTC , LG) sticking with Android for their next line it makes sense for Windows to do it themselves.
