Whether you are new to social media/social networking or have been plugging away at it for a while it’s worth a look at someone who has mastered it.

In 2006 Gary Vaynerchuk started Wine Library TV which is a video podcast show in which Gary tastes and reviews different wines. Gary has built his family local business into an industry leader using social media – Twitter, Youtube, Facebook etc.

He has been featured in The Wall Street Journal,GQ, and Timeappeared on Late Night with Conan O’Brien and Ellen.

Vaynerchuk has been described as “the first wine guru of the YouTube era” and he does it so differently to the normal stuffy wine snob. You often hear him saying things like, “This smells of gasoline…” or, “This tastes like dirt…”

Recently, Gary was named #18 on Askmen.com’s Top 49 Most Influential Men of 2009.
